About Paola

Paola is a highly experienced osteopath whose approach to better musculoskeletal health is unique in the way it blends elements of osteopathy, medical acupuncture, yoga, complex homeopathy, psychosomatic bodywork and nutrition.

Her approach is aimed at restoring mobility and wellness by looking at anatomy and physiology in a functional dynamic way: how we move every day, how we exercise, how we feel, how we eat, as in all of our actions and decisions our health is involved. Her passion is not only to help her patients and clients in overcoming pain but also understanding its causes. The goal is always to achieve long-lasting changes by encouraging patients to make better health and lifestyle choices.

She treats patients with all kinds of musculoskeletal pain, from back and neck pain to muscular strains, sports injuries and postural issues as well as headaches caused by muscular tensions and structural imbalances.

Paola has also a particular interest in, and knowledge of, the way the pressures and stresses of modern life impact diet and wellness, and she has broadened her studies to look at the preventive steps that societies can take to improve the health of the general population. She completed an MSc in Global Health and social epidemiology at the London school of economics in 2014, focusing on how a given society’s health is affected by nutrition, exercise and lifestyle choices.

Outside her work , when she is not in some faraway land, you may find her equally in a yoga class or at a Barry’ s boot camp class. She is very curious and passionate about good nutrition and believes that one dietary approach does not fit all. Her philosophy is to make healthy. choices 80% of the time to make your body strong and resilient and to become more aware of what its needs are, so you can have fun the other 20%. Life is not just about restrictions and rules and self-judgement, but also about pleasure and lightness and self-love.
